Dear friends in Scouting and Guiding,
2023 was an exceptional Scouting year! Some of our highlights included the World Scout Jamboree in South Korea, visits from our Chief scout Freek Vonk and Acting State Secretary Van Ooijen, a massive turnout at the National Children's Remembrance in Madurodam, and the 50th anniversary of our Association Scouting Nederland. In 1973 the four official Dutch guide and scout organisations combined forces and became one national organisation, Scouting Nederland.
With more than 40.000 people, our volunteers once again made it possible for 85.000 youth members, spread across 1000 scout groups, to embark on adventures in nature.
